Yeah, I occasionally drop by to check if any one's around too.

hooked up with a bunch of the old JA crew on fb... so maybe that'll get me back in the jedi mood and into some posting...

Zee Oh Em Gee! Activity!

I check here every now and then, see what's up. Not much, usually.

You know, my facebook profile pic is an avatar I made from cropping an old picture from one of the times Sah'ar, Danny, Alec, Henry and I met up in NYC years ago. Several years ago.

About the only Jedi-related thing I still do these days, so to speak, is to constantly tinker with the JMU RPG rules. Got a veritable core rulebook going so far.

The Jedi aspect just isn't that important to our lives and/or philosophies any more, so the only thing that links us here are the friendships we've had. Social networks can be used to stay in contact.

I feel like I've outgrown Star Wars, I have other franchises to fill my sci-fi fix, the only time I go back to Star Wars are for the few Expanded Universe novels that catch my interest.

I've got to say Alcander the JMU RPG is pretty damned impressive, but I have to wonder if the Star Wars elements are all that necessary now? No disrespect to what you've created but I think the non-Star Wars material could very well stand on their on.

As for facebook I should be able to be found with morgamr1@yahoo.co.nz or just use that as an e-mail if you feel the need.

Perhaps so. But as I've added to things I've come to enjoy having psionic powers being part of the game, so having "the Force" as a framework for how such powers function is a good thing, I find. I'd honestly probably end up calling it something else but having it serve the same role, anyway.

The whole "Jedi/Sith" framework is a little tired, however, even though Sah'ar and I have defined things differently in the Mythos universe setting. Still, I'd likely just rename the "Jedi" and "Sith" classes something else but keep the same functionality.

I see where you're coming from with the framework for the powers. Titles aside I think the JMU Jedi/Sith framework works perfectly fine in their universe, especially since they typically aren't so damned powerful and there's more diversity with honourable Sith and power hungery Jedi.
